In reality, the only way it will be "hard' for Obama to get votes is if we, the voters, make it hard...and how is that done? by not understanding that as President he is very limited in what he can and can not do...everything is controlled by Congress and who is in control of Congress? The GOP....if the Democrats run a campaign illustrating that the things that are important to a majority of the public (i.e. women's rights, Medicare, gas prices, etc) are being held hostage by the GOP and their lobbyists friends, not only will Pres. Obama be re-elected but we can boot out the GOP that swept into Congress during mid-terms....Pres. Obama will need a Congress with people that are on the same side as he is in order to do anything....

OK LAST WEEK I THOUGHT OBAMA WOULD GET RE-ELECTED I DID NOT THINK IT WOULD BE EASY FOR HIM TO WIN BUT I THOUGHT HE WOULD WIN AND LAST NIGHT AT WORK I HEARD ON THE NEWS THAT SEVERAL STATES WERE HIRING LIKE CRAZY AND THE GAS PRICES ARE HEADED DOWN NOW IF THESE 2 THINGS CONTINUE IN THERE PRESENT DIRECTION I THINK THEY DEFINITELY PUT OBAMA IN A MUCH BETTER POSITION TO WIN , AND HE HAD THE MOST CAMPAIGN IN 2008 I HAVE EVER SEEN I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT THEY DO IN 2012.

i think it will be very hard for Obama to win a second term. It depends on who the right comes up with to run against him, and the figures for unemployment, gross domestic product, housing starts, foreclosures, the stock market, and Iraq and Afghanistan just before the election.
It took an alignment of the stars, a crashing economy, plunging stock market, a frustrated war, and skyrocketing foreclosures and oil prices to get him in the first time. Keep in mind he only got about a third of the white vote. Since then, the far right has done their best to paint him as being as far away as possible to "one of us". An irresponsible spender with a chip on his shoulder for white america, who leans more towards big government, socialism, communism and marksism than capitalism.
But it is possible that by next summer the economy could be improving enough to give him a chance. Timing is everything, along with what clown the right comes up with to run against him.

I totally agree with MADDENSPARK...people will need to be motivated and mobilized to get out and vote...too many people think that he has the 2012 election "in the bag" and don't feel the need to vote...it won't hard for him to get "votes"..it WILL BE hard for him to get people to "get out and vote".....

Don't talk easy. People have to work for him to be re-elected. If everyone isn't mobilized and ready to participate we could find ourselves very sad indeed.
He will surely be re-elected if we get ready to work hard.

Prayer makes thing much easier so let all pray as a hold that all things good keep moving up and that the one who gave us the victory in '08 find favor in us again in 2012. For hate and dislike of good is always there. Yes I believe it will be easy.

If the economy and the job situation tank, it might be hard, but from what I can see, the economy is improving and companies are hiring like crazy
