Yes, I think he can (and will) be re-elected...mainly because at this point in the year, NONE of the Republicans have "officially" declared that they were running..they are still doing "exploratory committees"...NOT saying that Obama isn't beatable but at this point, I don't see how he would lose..it's basically Obama's election to lose....

(there aren't even any Dems that I have heard about thinking of running against him)

I read somewhere that Clinton's midterm ratings were low too, but he went on to win. And I think Obama has a strong popular vote and some things that are less under his control, like the economy and oil prices, aren't going to change how people feel about him. All we need are a few good campaing commercials. I totally trust him to do the right thing at the right time. Like, I didn't know how I felt about releasing the pictures of Bin Ladin. I just told myself, Obama will do the right thing. And I think he has. Obama is not going to release them because the conspiracy people won't be convinced anyway and it would just put our military people in jeopardy and inflame the Muslim world. Simple, obvious and true.

I agree with you too Kerstin. I haven't seen one person the republicans have that can hold a candle to him. I think he'll be re-elected.

He made Trump look like a complete idiot by releasing his birth cert when he did and then getting Bin Laden. He is so smart, thoughtful and deliberate, he will focus the next year or what ever it is to getting the job done. The repubs will have to come up with some wunderkid in the next few months because their current crop of losers don't have a chance
