The first time I went to Vegas I stayed at the Golden Nugget on Freemont St. That hotel is great, btw. Freemont St. is super cool and is worthy of a night spent there checking out all the free shows. Has anyone seen the show on Freemont with the girl in the giant globe with the dirt bikes? That's a crazy one! I had a hard time watching because I thought for sure one of the bikes would land on her.

As great as the Golden Nugget was, I prefer to stay on the strip because that's where we like to spend the majority of our time.

I finally made it downtown on our last trip... we got a 2 foot long beverage and tried on crazy sunglasses in between shows... FUN!

Have you all been downtown to Freemont Street when they have the laser shows?! That is one of my favorite free things to do in Vegas!
