OK - we have several challengers. Let's come up with some fun ideas for beating the holidays.
Any input would be appreciated.

I will let someone else suggest a good activity for the Friday after Thanksgiving - besides walking to the local mall at 5am to get in line for the doorbuster specials.

But Thanksgiving morning may represent an opportune time for exercise - it is in my house. I am thinking of giving thanks for my newly more fit body by hitting the treadmill for a double sized dose of aerobic exercise. Thinking that the pain at the end will help me resist temptation later in the day.

Other ideas appreciated.

GOOD I'M IN WILL ADD THIS TO MY PERSONAL HOLIDAY CHALLENGE TO DROP 30-LBS BY THE END OF THE YEAR. I START OCTOBER 1 BUT I ONLY WEIGHT-IN MONTHLY. emoticon AT THIS TIME IS 164-LBS. THANKS AND BEST OF LUCKS.

OK - I have been reading all over Spark about what people are going to do to "survive" the holidays.

This is the first holiday season since my lifestyle change and I think we should adopt a different approach. How can I take advantage of the time off, the time with friends and family and use it to further my lifestyle (aka lose 5 pounds)?

188.4 this morning - January 2, 2009 183.0.

Nice little short term goal - 6 weeks - 5.4 pounds.

Plus I can spread the Spark to all of my friends and family.

What do you think team? Anybody willing to join the Holiday Challenge?
