So, for those who know me. HEY THERE! :-)
For those who don't, nice to meet you. :-)
2013 and the first third of this year was a complete washout for me but it's coming back. I got WICKED sick last January (2013) with some sort of virus that ended up getting in to my lungs. They put me on antibiotics which caused even MORE problems and by the time I was feeling better, it was March. So.... I moved on to other things and completed P90X and did some other stuff after that on and off for like 6 months. I'm FINALLY back to running though and started back up about 2 1/2 weeks ago. To motivate myself, I'm going to run my first race in almost 2 years this coming October - a 10k. My training starts next month and in the meantime, trying to get back in to the swing of things and build my mileage. :-)
I did 4 on the trail yesterday (miles) and 5 on the road today. Not super fast or anything but I'm finally starting to feel like my old self. :-)
