I am feeling mostly better, Tim-- thanks for checking.

The reason I don't think it's the bug going around is because I've experienced the pain before with runs and hard workouts. And, I changed my diet up eating foods to provide "better energy" before the race-- but they are foods I don't normally eat-- so I think that may be part of the problem, especially the nausea I experienced. I'm going back to an English muffin and eggs this weekend.

It felt very much like a "side stitch" that just never went away-- for several days. I've been wondering if it's a pulled muscle.

Are you feeling better yet? You know, there has been a little bug going around. It may have nothing to do with running issues.

I ran my 5th HM yesterday. It was pretty torturous for me, because for the first time, I experienced all of the GI issues that I have long heard about... cramping, nausea, etc...

Today, I've got pain in my upper right abdomen. I've had it hurt before, post long run... even several hours post long run, but never well into the next day. The internet in this case is reassuring, rather than alarming, but I wanted to know if other's have experienced this and if so, if they found relief somehow.

Because, I've got another HM in just a few days...and I'd really rather not run it feeling like this.

Thanks!
