I agree with Body Glide as a preventative, but also Aquaphor in case you still chafe (or if you don't want BG on your face!). It's great stuff, and usually clears up my chafing very quickly. It also works great on dry skin (such as my nose when I have a cold).

Body glide for sure. Both armpits and over the nipples. Shorter runs I don't, but always on the long runs. Especially on a windy day I found out as the wind was blowing head on and sweating made the shirt stick more to your body so the rubbing on the chest was increased. Ouch!! At least us guys can take our shirts off. I feel sorry for the women since they can't. I mean they can and I wouldn't mind, but I think law enforcement would have something to say.

I agree with everyone else - Body Glide is the miracle product.
I didn't get chafing until I started running longer than the half marathon distance. I would get chafing from my sports bras. At first, I just used bandaids but then found some body glide and bought it. Best thing EVER!
Body Glide definately helps. Also, now that it's winter and I run in long sleeved shirts, I don't chaff under my arms any more.

Definitely Body Glide. It has helped me immensely.

I use Body Glide anti-chafing and it works. Before I knew about that, I used Vaseline, but that was messy.

2013 Goal: Marathon Training after Year and a Half Break..
A few times after my long runs I've been so sore under one or both of my armpits from chaffing. Ouch!!! It stings like crazy! Of course it is remedied over several days with Polysporin. Something tells me it's the fabric I'm wearing ... and the fact that my runs are getting longer and longer (16km max so far).
Any suggestions from you folks? and erm ... any inspiration you can add to get my butt out running in this rain this morning too ... ?
