Maryann- sounds like you haven't been feeling well for awhile. I hope it isn't anything serious!

I also remember when the Lubbock team was more active; although , I think I joined when it was on the downward slope.

I failed miserably when I tried to get the group together. As things go, everyone is always so busy.

Maybe we can try again as the weather becomes more predictable.

Hi everyone so according to the ground hog we are going to have 6 more months of Winter YUK! I woke up with a head cold this morning. Super bowl today. My son is from the Seattle Area so he is diffently for the Seahawks. I asked my DH who he wanted to win. HIs anser was the one with the most points emoticon Lucy Belle, my new furbaby had a blast in the snow today!

Moogie, the inches count *just* as much as the scale! I have heard that our cells hold onto water, sometimes making the scale sit stubbornly still, and then sometimes, out of nowhere, whoosh! 2 or 3 pounds are gone. Congrats on the measurements!

Hi Holly! I spent 30 (or more)minutes looking at Einstein's online nutritional information and menu last night, I was hungry lol. I can't decide between a bagel thin egg white sandwich, or a yummy full sizes bagel with spread. The honey almond sounds good, but then again so does the garden veggie. Today is my higher calorie day, so I enjoy these days very much and want to make every calorie count!

Welcome Texsherbear to Lubbock Sparkers! I hope you enjoyed Einstein. I LOVE their bagels. The bagels sandwiches are higher in calorie than I would have expected. So, I ususally just go for a bagel and some spread. As you may know, they have a nutrition guide online and I always find it best to look at it before I go out to eat instead of after.

Hi, I just found SP today. It's kind of overwhelming! Lol I tracked my calories for today, ate about 200 more calories than I thought, guess adding calories in my head is not my strong point. I don't exercise, but want to start.
Tomorrow I'm going to Einstein's for lunch. Any recommendations for a low calorie meal?
I have been watching what I eat since December 15, and have lost a little. I eat very low calories every other day(under 500). The diet plan I'm on is called JUDDD. Every other day I eat about 1800 calories, so I eat under 500 one day and under 1800 the next. My calories average about 1150 a day. I have 35 more pounds to lose.
I'm glad to have found this group, I was surprised.

This morning I awoke with a sinus headache. Hopefully it won't get in the way of my active day today. Planning to clean out my frig and will be waiting for my new washer to show up sometime today. Boy, do I have a ton of laundry to finish.

I too am not a fan of strength training. I think it is because I get bored with it. This is something I am hoping to focus on this next year. Hopefully my new XTrain dvd's from Cathe Fredrich will get me headed in the right direction.

I wish I can say I ate well on Christmas Eve and Christmas day but I can't. However, I did add all my food into the SP nutrition. Today, I went to Planet Fitness and worked out on the elliptical for 50 minutes while watching Breaking Bad on Netflix. I am addicted to this tv series - only on Season 1.

I am not a fan of cardio machines but when the weather is bad... It a good alternative to go the gym.
