I like to switch up the ways I get my exercise and this week I surprised myself with doing two things I haven't done in a very long time!
-Rollerskate- Yup it has been a while since I have been on four wheels but when I entered it in I burned over 700 calories. And think I was laughing the whole way!
-Build Snowmen- As much fun as we were having we were burning a lot of calories. Our snowman was life size so the body and head were very heavy to push and lift. We had a lot of fun and again burned calories!
-Canoeing- My hubby might beg to differ but I get a lot of work out of this and it is very peaceful to throw it in in the morning. Sometime we even bring the dogs.
-Bike Riding- I love to do this! I am not as good as I would like to be, however I am challenging myself to do the Tour de Cure Diabetes ride in May. It gives me a goal.
-Walking- Whether with the dogs, or friends, again it is a good way to clear your head and take in some fresh air
-Basketball- I was a great player in FL however I haven't found a court or game here. I was probably in the best shape of my life when I played. I was running sprints in the games.
