We usually love puzzles at our house. But we haven't started any this winter. We have been heavy into reading. Getting the yoga tape out is a good idea. Make yourself take an exercise break. I think my little one and I will try that next time we are in a reading zone!
Ok, so it only works the mind, but I have been into jigsaw puzzles lately. I am crazy about them. I have to force myself to get up and move because I am bent over the table searching. Yoga is a great stretcher for puzzle people! :)
I went roller skating last week! I used to love roller skating and bowling. But it has been nine years since I skated. It was hard, but I would love to get back in shape enough to do it for more than 30 minutes.
I love going on walks with my son and our dog. I use to love to roller blade but haven't done that for years :( I would love to get a pair and start doing it again. I like to do My turbo jam workout, i hate exercise videos but this one i have so much fun doing. Hmmm what else...I would love to try bike riding, but I'm not even sure i know how anymore( jk ) its been at least 15 years since i have been on one. Oh i love going out side i racing my son in our back yard we come up with different ways to race.
Well if you check My Sparks Page it is pretty easy to figure out. Hang with my Grandson when he's in town like he is this weekend, he and his Mommy came in, Ride My bicycle and workout and fish. Also unfortunately EAT.
I like to switch up the ways I get my exercise and this week I surprised myself with doing two things I haven't done in a very long time!
-Rollerskate- Yup it has been a while since I have been on four wheels but when I entered it in I burned over 700 calories. And think I was laughing the whole way!
-Build Snowmen- As much fun as we were having we were burning a lot of calories. Our snowman was life size so the body and head were very heavy to push and lift. We had a lot of fun and again burned calories!
-Canoeing- My hubby might beg to differ but I get a lot of work out of this and it is very peaceful to throw it in in the morning. Sometime we even bring the dogs.
-Bike Riding- I love to do this! I am not as good as I would like to be, however I am challenging myself to do the Tour de Cure Diabetes ride in May. It gives me a goal.
-Walking- Whether with the dogs, or friends, again it is a good way to clear your head and take in some fresh air
-Basketball- I was a great player in FL however I haven't found a court or game here. I was probably in the best shape of my life when I played. I was running sprints in the games.
Please add what you like to do and lets figure out some fun outings that we all can enjoy together! I would love to get you all out on the roller rink!
