I really think to much...I did 45 minutes of cardio and weights...then at the event tonight I had to walk stairs.....boy my thighs and gluts are letting me know I hurt

Taking a road trip and i got my food and snacks ready last night ...sis had a ribeye biscuit combo from hardees and i had my english muffin with canadian bacon,cbeese,spicy mustard,along with bell pepper srips and water. Oh even got my skim milk ready. Breakfast was great

A small squirt of lime - or any citrus - gives the water a good taste. Crystal light makes singles for adding to a glass of water. For some extra Vitamin C, I sometimes add Emergen-C (the raspberry is my favorite).

Thanks! He is staying out back in his "man cave" (bath and a TV) since he can't do stairs yet. It's kind of like dating again since he is not always underfoot and calls me on the phone instead of yelling up the stairs. I told him he better be careful - I might make this permanent ;)

Ever had a day when you feel successful just for waking up? Been 'spring' cleaning - the hubbie is housed in the man cave due to his knee surgery so I can clean without him undoing everything! I feel wiped out! But, my house is getting very shiny!

I don't know if you caught it or not, but there was discussion of Dr. Oz on how women see themselves lager than they are. Keep looking at that size 6 when you need a fix. Keep a tag with the size on it and put in on your mirror.

decided to clothes shop today and decide on a goal size
i expected to be let down and depressed.

well i was pleasantly shocked.
i tried on several sizes of jeans expecting to still be stuck in a size 8 i know i know i am already fairly small. but before kids i was a size 3-4
my success was i fit a size 6 today and a medium top, holy cow, seriously. i have some weight to lose but that was frigging sweet.
i just wish i could see the small woman that i am i see a fat girl when i look at the mirror

1) Stayed on the lower half of my calorie range
2) Met my fitness goals for the day (even though it's a Monday and I REALLY didn't want to)
3) Made myself jog half a mile an hour faster than I needed to
4) Spent time playing with the kids (not strictly a fitness/nutrition success, but probably the most important)
5) Will get to bed at a decent time

Keep posting! I love seeing everyone's successes. Have an awesome day tomorrow everyone!!

Stopped at Dunkin Donuts 2 days in a row and did NOT have a donut. Just coffee without sugar (splenda) and an egg white flatbread sandwich which at 290 calories, is in my calorie range for breakfast.

I am in Houston and at the hotel i do my strength training and yoga but started walking from the convention center to the hotel-only 0.75 miles but with all our books it took about 15 mins.i felt good though tired lugging all the books-still that counts as weights too,doesn't it?LOL!

Weight goes up and down depending on hydration, sodium intake, hormones, time of last meal, etc. I am in maintenance and mine varies 3 or 4 pounds during a week. Just look at the overall trend, keep building muscle, and develop your healthy eating habits. You WILL get there!

Great start!

Found out I am allergic/sensitive to some foods and have been feeling much better since eliminating them from my diet. Actually got in all my exercise for the last 2 weeks!

I'm proud of myself today for making myself go to the gym for my workout even though I didn't feel good b/c I had a really rough day. I really wanted to go home, have some junk food (mainly milky way candy bars, milk duds, etc...) and have some drinks and wash my troubles away. Instead, I drove myself to the gym and got my sweat on! emoticon

I read somewhere on someones blog or post that they loved posting their daily success some where and reading the posts of others because it gave themselves accountability and they got inspired from posts of others. It not about how big the accomplishment or success is, its about the success you aremade and are working towards.....woohooo
