Plus when you have enough people playing, you burn calories laughing at people. I love to see people jump at tennis. It's still a video game, you don't have to jump to get the ball. emoticon

My husband and I have a Wii! If you're competitive like me you'll REALLY get going. When I play tennis I almost run out of breath because I'm trying to win so hard!

The Wii is the latest console from Nintendo. Unlike other video game systems that encourage a sedantary existance, this one actually requires you to move. For instance if you're playing tennis, you hold the controller in your hand and swing as if you actually had a tennis racquet in your hand. The boxing is one of the best. You have to jab and punch and is quite exhausting. It is loads of fun and a revolutionary way to 'game'.

I like Exercise TV "on demand". It offers me a large variety of great workouts that I wouldn't normally try at the gym. My favorite are the dance ones, like hip hop and strip tease. They are a lot of fun and I can do these in the comfort of my livingroom and no will laugh at me. My FH likes the new moves I've showed him too. = ) As for the Wii, that is an awesome suggestion. We love to play that too.

If you can find a Wii, I'd recommend it - everyone from my octogenarian uncles to my middle-ages cousins and down enjoy it, and it gets them moving for hours at a time.

favorite indoor activity other than the gym. I am trying to do more creative things. I have started hula hooping while watching tv. I have to laugh at myself every once and a while and my husband thinks I am crazy.
