wow, we've been quiet this month!

Everyone meeting their calories burned goals? I've gone over mine!

I've been doing well, except for yesterday I didn't get any exercise in...boo!

I have a streak going of at least 2 hours of some kind of exercise every day sinc the 1st of September--what doesn't kill us makes us stronger!!!

Here are my fitness activities for September. I havent been tracking calories burned, but I know Im losing inches. I have a goal to lose 5-6 lbs each month so I will be ready for a cruise to the Western Caribbean in January. I plan to update this post throughout the week. Tracking fitness helps me stay motivated to workout and it helps me to see what I have accomplished throughout the month.

FITNESS TRACKING
Fitness Goals Per Week: 30+ minutes, 5x/Week

Sat, 9/1- Yard Work, 45 min.

I admit that today I really had to force myself to work out. I just wasn't feeling it.
Once I started though I was able to complete:

650 calories burned in about an hour, on the elliptical, treadmill, and arctrainer

Cycling 12-13.9 mph (bicycling, biking, bike riding) 40mins 512 cal burned * I ride my bike to and from work each day
Walk 15 min/mile 20 mins 144 burned I had to run a work errand downtown

I also don't count random walks to the store and such.

I bet you are burning a bit more, hills are killer!

That's awesome! Today my goal is to burn 700 calories at the gym. Which is going to be hard since it closes very soon due to the holiday. Will check back in later!

ill be active most of the month!
my husband is graduating from itt tech on thursday, and he is already out of school, and we are taking daily walks now. its awesome.
i will try to keep up on posting calories burned (although the estimation should be off... i walk some crazy hills sometimes!) and the time we are out.

i walked about 10 minutes in a park yesterday, came home and then walked about 70 minutes. the tracker said it was 350 calories

We started out strong in August, although it kind of slowed down after awhile. List your exercise minutes and calories burned each day.

Let's make September the "get out, get active" month!
