Jory I do have a plan of action with attainable goals. Once I get over this cold I will put th plan in action. Half of the plan is already in action, the nutrition.

Thanks Gaye...Its like pushing one of those really big tires over and over...Pretty hard at first, but hopefully will pay off in the long run...

Would really like to see if we can motivate folks in the direction of fitness/nutrition. I sorta see this as a "virtual gym" where we can "get fit" together...and take it out in the real --

I use the nutrition tracker daily, even on bad ones. That's one of my favorite tools on Spark.

Yes I use the nutrition tracker and the exercise one, The only problem I have is that I have dial up at home and I can't get into the nutrition tracker most of the time. But I do have an Excel spreadsheet where I track everything I eat.

When I have a few minutes I will share my story. I don't have enough time left at the library to do it today.

Jennifer -- It is definitely possible! Is there anything that we can help to encourage you in? I know it is a one step at a time kind of journey and a change in mind set that really sets the pace.

Jan - Wow, emoticon to you on your weightloss! Your goals are definitely within reach! Would love to hear how your success story!

Chuck - What is your exercise program and do you have a plan of attack on the nutrition front?

Do any of you track in the Nutrition Tracker? I always find success when I use mine, but sadly...when I dont...it shows.

My goals for 2014 is to spend more time making meals from "scratch" - and one goal I have is to do something different fitness-wise at least once a week. I plan to go to a water aerobic class next Monday in SE Portland. The idea of a bathing suit makes me shudder right now, but I guess Im gonna have to suck it up (or should I say, in) -- and just do it. I also want to see if we can "jump start" this team so that people can find one another in real time and help one another reach their goals. I know that in the past couple of years Candy and Gaye (and others) have coordinated activities. Let's see if we can get that same energy moving again!

My goal this year is to lose all the weight I gained during the holidays and then I hope and pray I can lose that last 30 pounds so I will be at my goal weight. To accomplish this I will get back on track and eat healthier meals, continue walking my 10,000 plus steps daily, do cardio and strength training 3 times a week.
