Powell's has a guest speaker on hills around Portland. On KATU news The man apprehended was just a few blocks away from us . I heard the bang when the police opened the door . He was throwing knives at officers. They had one of our cross streets closed. Powel A major throw fare was closed. I figure that's 3 blocks .

For me - I want to.. ahem.. make that WILL release 4 lbs. It may not seem like much, but I've wandered so far afield of where I should be, 4 may be tough to do. I'm going to do this by stopping my "I'm grumpy at the world so screw it I'm going to eat whatever I want" nonsense and start eating smart again. I'm also going to start moving more, again.
Essentially, get over myself and get on with living as and being the person I want to be.
My goals for the rest of the month are to go for a walk on my lunch break every day I'm at work, rain or shine and to track my fitness and calories here every day. And I'm posting them here so you guys can hold me to them! :D
