Since I just "re-started" and had let my work outs slide for a while, this month I am focused on 4-30 minute work outs a week. Also drinking loads of water and trying to avoid too much temptation.

My big challenges now:

My mom is disabled so I do all of the holiday baking for my family now. That can be challenging. If I even take one bite I usually loose all of my willpower. Been baking and freezing the things that I can. That helps since my freezer is out in the garage. This weekend I need to finish up (we're celebrating our holiday on the 22nd in Bend due to our custody arrangement).

The other challenge is the actual celebration. We will celebrate my DSD's birthday and Christmas that weekend. I am trying to plan ahead with all that temptation. Bringing lots of healthy snacks, etc. Love my family but spending time with them surrounded by food has been a trigger for me more times than not.

I am inspired by what I see here and will continue to check in. I feel pretty good that I can get through the holidays if I stay focused on all of the SP tools and support.

Good job Robin! I lost a few over the weekend but I'm sure it won't last as it was from being sick and not eating.

My hikes did the trick. Gained 6 lbs on Friday, lost 6 lbs by yesterday. Next weigh in on Wednesday!

I'm totally working on maintaining through the holidays - not gaining will be a win for me at this point. It'll allow me to enjoy, indulge a little, but not go overboard stressing or having a free-for-all.
Moderation is key, right?

Should have worked off some of the "crap treats" this weekend. Wandered around the Industrial area and Ladds Edition yesterday, then a 9+ mile hike on the Herman Creek and Eaton Ridge trails today, realized once again how out of shape I am when it comes to doing things other than running. Gorgeous hike, even ran into snow once we reached some elevation, but hiking those super steep trails is HARD!
