My February goals are-
First, my standing monthly goal for every month until I reach my goal weight is to lose 5 pounds. I think that's going to be a little bit of a challenge in February because #1 there are only 29 days this month! And #2, I finished January with 2 extra pounds lost in this mornings weigh in. I did really well on my eating plan this past weekend and did Zumba Monday and Tuesday this week, so when I weighed in this morning, I was down an extra 2 pounds total. So I'm starting February off at a lower starting point than I planned. But I have decided that that's just the way it is, so I am not going to credit that extra weight to February and "cheat" myself this month into letting myself lose 2 less pounds.
My other February goals are to behave this weekend at a Super Bowl party! Little alcohol, well portioned nibbles, NO GOING OVERBOARD! And a SMALL amount of chocolate on V-day! Being single, that's usually fairly easy as I don't celebrate V-day, but there is always so much chocolate at the grocery store it's hard to resist. So I will allow myself a few pieces ONLY on February 14th within my eating plan, and that's it!
My other February goal is to walk 20 miles. January's weather was very cooperative with my efforts and I was able to walk more than that 20. Not sure how February's weather is going to shake out, but this week is looking good, so I'm going to get a jump on February's 20 this week!
