Hey Sue,

I believe your links won't work because they're pointing to files on a computer that are not accessible to anyone else. At least, that's the clue that the URLs present.

I thought I'd drop off this link to the OregonLive.com Run blog. It has a listing of all the Turkey Trots going on in the area. I'll be doing the Hot Buttered Run as someone else mentioned.

Good luck!

Thinking about it. If anybody has opinions about any or all of these 'trots,' be sure to let me know; otherwise, my son & I will just pick one.

Sue, here's the link for the Sherwood race
www.givengobble.com/

Also, there are a few people signed up for the Hot Buttered Run on 11/27. It's in Vancouver but easy to get to and a short drive from the Portland metro area. I've done several races in this area and it's usually a great course and very pretty. I'm thinking I will be doing this one.

Do you know anything about the Tigard Turkeython? And is the Give n' Gobble the event in Sherman?

Welcome to the Portland Spark team GINGERVISTA! How exciting that you will be here in Portland. The Zoo Turkey Trot is pretty hilly (I won't be doing that). Not sure if I'll do the Sherwood one or not but if so I'd like to meet you! There are quite a few of locals that do race events here so I hope you can meet some of them.

Anybody planning on running a Turkey Trot this year?
I just joined because I'll be in Portland (from Chicago area) around Thanksgiving visiting son & planned to run a turkey trot....am thinking either the Tigard Turkeython or Turkey Trot at the Zoo.
