How's my summer going? Too fast
Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it’s a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they’re terrible; in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul

Now if we could only have this weather through September and October I'd be a very happy camper!

I'm with you. We've waited too long to get a week of sunshine. I'm reading The Help right now and can't put it down so I plan on sitting on my deck in the sun tomorrow (facing west) with the fan on me and a pitcher of iced tea reading all afternoon. I am so ready!

Bring it on I say! I've already been out there and I LOVE it! If it really ever gets too hot there are always trees for shade and good books...if you are allowed the time to do that!

I would love to see some summer, but I would take what we have over what the midwest and east coast is going through, The sun is shinning now so I am happy! I did spend a day on Hagg Lake a couple of weekends ago and it was beautiful.

Just one more reason I'm grateful for my 9/80 work week and every-other Friday off!
Looks like the rest of this week is going to be pretty nice. If I'd known, I would have taken vacation, lol!

Gaye Gaye Gaye! At least we're not sweltering with the rest of the country! I almost feel guilty about that. Almost!
My mom arrives the Monday after HTC! I'll be taking half-days while she's here for two weeks. So yea, I'd say your two days count, too. C~
Oregon summers remind me of why I live here. It looks like paradise out there right now; so lush, so green, flowers blooming. Come ON sunshine!!!!! Give me more!! My strawberries and tomatoes need it!!

Do you think we're on the other side of this rainy spell yet? The sun is shining outside my window as I type, so I'm hopeful.
