I just do the treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike, etc. If I don't want to go to the gym I have a couple of workout DVD's that I like (the Walk-a-mile with Leslie Sansone is good if you like walking)

Like Gaye, the cold is tolerable as long as I can stay dry. I've been out'n'about lately for runs and walks in the wind and cold, and it hasn't been too bad, as I'm layered in.
I LOVE walking the esplanade. It's not far from where I work, although I never make it out during the work week.
Workout DVDs are good. I have my treadmill at home, and a stubborn streak about getting outside when it's not raining. Then again, we're due some of the wet stuff the rest of this week, so I'll be cooped up again in no time! C~
Hey Portland Spark People, how about this weather?
I normally walk the river front loop but it is just to darn cold to be outside. So what are you doing to exercise in the cold?
I'm thinking about walking the stairs in my apartment building until it warms up. We have two sets of stairs on either side of the building. So I thought I would run down a flight, walk down the hall, run down a flight, walk down a hall and repeat until I'm at the bottom. Then start over again.
Any other ideas?
Inch by inch, day by day I'm going to make these pounds go away!
