It is fairly easy for me since most of the cooking is left up to me, because I enjoy cooking. Consequently the family eats what I prepare. When I started my diet program I have the support of the family so we cleaned the house of items not on the diet plan. We took the big trash can and started tossing ice-cream, pies, pizzas, cookies, potato chips, corn chips various cereals, etc. We replaced items with fruits, salad ingredients, lean turkey meat, and whole grain foods.
Granted there was some moaning going on for the loss of the goodies, but it is 3 months later and we have all adjusted.
