HEARTINTENT - It's not going. I've slacked off the last three weeks. Being exhausted one week, a cold the next and overall lazy this last week! Hoping to get back on track. I am doing the Shamrock Stride on Sunday, so it might kick my butt, but it will get me back on track!

NWCOUNTRYDANCER, I know what you mean about busy! It sounds like thats a reasonable fee to pay. I found that at the community center here. I see you do the Wii Fit and BL Wii - How's that going? I have both those workouts as well - I use them intermittently (did the Wii Plus today though).
Amber - Those gym schedules can be odd at times! Youre lucky though as the class would be free. Zumba has really taken off in other parts of the country!

I want to try it, but have been swamped with other things. I know there is a class in Molalla and they do drop-ins for either $5 or $7 I think.

how funny! according to that link they actually have a class at my gym.
Too bad they don't have it until I'm getting ready for bed! Why in the world are the classes at my gym so LATE? Weird, I never thought about it because I usually stick to the machines.

Ive been doing some checking around -- The classes listed on the Zumba site for Spotlight Performance are no longer available (I just received an email to that affect). I dont belong to a fitness club, so those classes are out, but the Mt Scott Community Center is offering a series of 5 classes/$34 beginning in April that I think I will check out to add something diff! I called and they are just opening registration, so there is room. Anyone else interested?

Thanks for the link. This looks interesting. I've heard about Zumba but didn't really pay any attention. Looks like a lot of fun even for an old coot like me...lol
Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it’s a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they’re terrible; in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul

I'm quite curious too, I don't believe there are any places near me with classes to try though.
Very cool that you at least found some awesome DVDs!

I just recently started ZUMBA, and what a blast it is! I bought the dvd's, "sorta" learned the moves...and would like to start a class...but where?
Have any of you tried it? How many in a class? Does it matter whether I am an uncoordinated klutz who goes left when everyone goes right (well, maybe not that bad)? How much do classes cost? How long are they?
