I'm chugging along. Maintaining/gaining muscle isn't as easy as I thought it'd be. Well...I didn't think it'd be easy. But I thought that the scale going up wouldn't bother me as much as it does! I'm specifically trying to build muscle, so it's going to go up, but for some reason, it still gets to me! My measurements are going down, but for some reason my brain refuses to accept that. So the hard part, is just getting myself to not care what the scale says. (putting it away would probably help, huh? lol)
I got the perfect push up for Christmas. That's much harder than I thought it would be too! But slowly I've been able to do about a set of 5. One set of five, isn't where I thought I'd be! But one day I'll make it to a full set of 12, and then some day after that two sets! It's just slow going. But slow and steady wins the race!
MUSCLE DOES NOT WEIGH MORE THAN FAT 5 lbs = 5 lbs
5 lbs of muscle simply takes up less space than 5 lbs of fat!
If nothing tasted as good as being thin felt, no one would ever get fat!

Are you keeping up with your goals/challenges/ resolutions? Any great accomplishments? And tough spots you weren't expecting?
I have done well with getting 30 minutes of cardio per day, have kept my steps up there (over 125 miles so far!), and am tracking my food faithfully. The down-side is that I am still not losing weight. Oh well, I AM healthier!
