I'm so upset. I've put on 5lbs since the weather turned. I haven't been to the gym all week... I haven't been able to get there. plus I'm stuck at home with all the christmas goodies! I feel gross. I was thinking about trying to find some fitness videos, but I haven't even made it out of the house at all this weekend, netflix is a great idea, but I don't have it.
Do you have Netflix? I recently discovered they have exercise videos on their "Watch it Now" feature. I just take my laptop into the living room, and 30-40 minutes later I've had a great workout. I like it because there are a ton to choose from, so I never get bored. I've done a new one every day for a week now, and still have a bunch to try.
I've set up a home gym in my living room: some dumbbells, a stability ball, a yoga mat. I've purchased a few DVDs off eBay after checking them out at collagevideo.com (they have 1 min preview of every DVD they sell). This has worked for me in the past, so I'm hoping it works this winter.

This is the first winter that I have really tried to stick wth an exercise program. I am fortunate enough to have a gym membership, but I will not have it much longer. Any tips for someone who wants to keep up the good work after it isn't so comfy? What do you all do for exercise in the great outdoors? How do you keep warm and dry? What kind of gear is best? Thanks!
