Ya know I have a treadmill at my house but I really enjoy a good rain job. I mean if you think about it your already sweating. Wear a hat so it's not in your eyes...and it helps you stay cooler. Obviously you dress warmer but...I guess I'm just used to the rain growing up here. The biggest problem w/ walking jogging in the rain is the chaffing (sp?).
I bought a treadmill. It's a tiny one that wouldn't work for someone taller/bigger than me but I can easily fold it up and roll it away to store on its end in the corner when I want the space back. I've set it up in the basement with the tv and use it every single time I watch a show or dvd. Since 8/15 I've gone from 208 to 200.4 and dropped 5% body fat. I've gone from being able to do an hour at 2 miles an hour to 1/2 the hour at 3.5 and half the hour at 3. The 18s have all gone from being snug to falling off my hips with no belt and when I tried on a pair of 16s today they weren't too tight for comfort though they were still too tight to look good. I figure in about another 5 pounds I can replace my pants. The treadmill was expensive but it's been well worth every penny.
