I did pretty good that night =) dinner came in around 750 cals, high yes, but not soo bad for a night out...
The restaurant is nice, we will definitely have to go back - they gave us coupons for 1 entree free with purchase on 1, so will try to use before they expire at the end of this year.
We shared the lettuce wrap appetizer, and I requested veggies only with the shrimp skewer entree, that plus a side salad w/ just a small drizzle of o.o and balsamic. And two bites of my bf's bread pudding...
Fortunately or not, he's flying out tomorrow and I'll be on my own for this week, so no eating out, definitely makes it easier to stay on track!
I can't wait to take a long walk on the waterfront under the sun - while we still have it! Thanks everyone for your input! And enjoy the sunshine today!
When my husband I went there last he got like a $28 entree and then the waiter asked if he'd like to ADD a salad to that for like $4. You mean if I pay $28 a side salad doesn't come with it? Sorry rant from the last time we've ever been there. hee hee
Umm I think they are by Kraft. You can get them in any Safeway. There is Italian, Basalmic Vingerette, and I think Ranch. Each packet is 25 calories!! So you know exactly how much your using.
I've ate there before. You generally don't have to worry about portion control because they give you very small amounts of food. At least in my experience.
I've had the Teriyaki Tenderloin Steak Bites & the Lettuce wraps which are pretty good. Both in portions aren't that bad. One thing I've learned about going out to eat is to stuff a single packet of salad dressing in my purse. A lot of the calories in salads come from the dressing, but I solve that by bringing my own. In a big group I doubt anyone will notice. Even if they did they can't blame you for wanting to be healthy!!
I've been there and I seem to remember (vaguely) a salad with cranberries and hazelnuts. There was cheese with the plate, as well. It was delicious food and I think you'll be able to find a fish option (if you like fish). The salad was very good, though.
Hi all - So I'm going out to dinner with my bf and his work team & their sig. others tonight, we're going here: http://www.hallstreetgrill.com/
Has anyone been here? I'm trying to look at the menu, but anyone know off hand or have advice for a lower calorie, low carb option? I don't want to be too picky when it's a big group thing (~20 people), but my diet goals are important to me.
