good job, getting the word started!
I have gotten these on Spark and I detest them!!!
So who should I be talking to that you know who needs my skills?

I have several friends and family members who have email forwarditis as well; I hope that this doesn't turn into a larger problem on SP. Yes, the intentions of the sender are usually good, but a quick personal note of a sentence or two means a lot more to me than forwarding pre-written text that's dragging around an email trail with a million "Look at this!" messages from people I don't know.

Luckly I haven't had them from Spark People, and hope I never do. I get more than enough from well meaning (?) friends. Glad to see SP doesn't approve.

A message from Coach Jen :
We've started to have more of a problem recently with "chain" messages. For example, you're asked to send something along to 10 of your friends, and before you know it you're getting this same message (or a similar one) from lots of different people.
I think a lot of these are very nice, but not everyone wants them. So we're going to ask that people stop forwarding these along- either as SparkMail messages or comments on SparkPages. Please pass the word along to Teams you're on and individuals if they send them to you, letting them know that we're trying to discourage it. Also, if you get one of these messages, please do not "reply all" when responding to the sender, since that just multiplies the emails for everyone else.
If the problem continues, we'll make a formal policy against them. But for right now, we're hoping this will help.
Let me know if you have questions! Thanks!
