Hi all. Bike Pathways is coming to Portland on June 22nd,. This is a community event based on events done in South America. Basically the city is going to close a smile loop for biking, walking, and rolling on June 22nd. This year it will be in N. Portland. Its free, and the loop connects three or four N. Portland Parks.
I was wondering if anyone wanted to meet at my place (I will email you directions) around 10:30 AM for a leisurely walk, bike, or roll, and then reconvene for a picnic in one of the parks (Gammins or Arbor Lodge).
I will most likely roller blade the loop, but if you would like to walk it, I can blade it at 8 and then walk it with you at 10:30.
It's a nice loop. Willamette runs right along the bluff. It wanders to Peninsular park, and then up past Concordia(I think) rose garden.
Anywho, let me know if you are interested. It sounds like it will be fun.
I am not the hare. I am the tortoise. I will win my race slowly and steadily, one bite, one step at a time.
