Oh, and Nike has a group run and Team Red Lizzard runs during the week, though I have heard they are pretty serious and advanced runners. Nike is for anyone and I think they go on Wednesday evenings, can't remember exactly. You might be able to find out at their web site (?)
Thanks, my friend runs with them. I can't run on Saturdays, that is the reason I didn't join and didn't want to drive to Vancouver to run on Sundays (until it was too late to join! Now I would). That was pretty much my dilema. I have been looking at the schedule, though, and trying to follow the training schedule on line. I just really wanted people to do long runs with otherwise I slack....! Thanks for your reply, though, I will keep looking for Sunday runners!

Have you ever heard of Portland Fit? It's too late to join but you can at least run with them. Check out the website www.portlandfit.com - all of us are training for Helvetia and we run 7 miles this weekend.
If anyone out there is up for getting a group run in I am in need of a group to run with!! Here is what I am hoping for: Sunday mornings, maybe around 7 am, average pace around 9 - 9:30 min/miles (anywhere around there is good) and runs at around 9 miles. I want to run the Helvetia Half next month and I need to get some long runs in!! Sunday morning is about the only time I can conveniently do it and I would really really like to have running partners!! So far the longest run I have done is 8.5 miles. My shorter runs, like 10k's have averaged about 8:33 min/miles but I want to take the longer runs a little slower and just work on running them. So if you are interested email me!! email@example.com
