Oh, I gave up fast food over a year ago. And soda no longer exists in my household (and that's a money saver too, but to my kids' disappointment). But ya caught me! We have a candy jar at work and I sometimes dip into it. When I was losing, I wouldn't walk within 10 feet of it, so I'm sure that's part of it, not that I over indulge, but the smallest amount of extra calories will keep me from losing. I know it. Its just a will power thing with me. Its funny, when I choose to have a treat (maybe 4 times in the last year) like an ice cream from Coldstone, I never gained any weight from it. In fact I usually would be down the next day, so you might be on to something with the occasional dip into the fast food realm. Hmmmm.

Oiy! Me too. I've been stuck for months though. It does get harder to lose the smaller you are. I've been losing the same three lbs for months, up down up down. I've been reading all kinds of tricks and tips to jump start and have tried them all. I think I'm plain just eating too much and need to cut back, no matter how difficult it is. I just can't seem to muster up the will power to do it.
For what it is worth, I thought I would let you know I am still stuck. And ... perhaps ... the stuck is also in my head!
My weight is still 172#.
Since you don't know me, it might be fair to let all know I have about 15# of titanium in me. I have had both hips replaced with additional material added to my pelvis for stability. I am 5'9" tall and my doc has never been crazy about me being below 160#. Add to that, I am 56 and past the hormone fluctuations.
If I do the creative math, subtracting the titanium from my current weight, I am below that 160# mark.

Another thing to keep in mind, particularly since it sounds like it's only been a couple of weeks is that you may also be retaining water. I have consistantly been loosing about 10 lbs a month since I started, but there is always a week or two in there when I don't see the scale move at all because of PMS, etc. Obviously, your clothes are telling you that you have lost, even if the scale isn't, so just stick with it, and I bet next week you'll have a day where you loose 5 lbs over night.

I have been hovering around 146 for over a month now. My boyfriend keeps telling me it's fine and it's not about the weight but how my body is changing. He says he can see it. That was plenty of motivation for me to get back on my treadmill after 4 days off. I was feeling like all this work was doing nothing but it is. No matter what the scale says do it for your entire body and your overall health.
