Thanks for that info, I will not order any urine through the mail as cat urine already stinks to high heaven under our boxwoods.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it. For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

I have tried fox urine, which stinks to high heaven. Minutes after I apply, the rabbits hop on over and resume their munching, sitting right where I applied the stuff! Completely ineffective.

That may be a good idea about the cat litter. I have heard it works and it is worth a try. I read once upon a time that coyote urine also works. I have never tried it, but have seen if for sale in some gardening catalogs.

I have never really heard of anything that works. This place was in bad shape from the jack rabbits when we moved here even the trees were girdled. That cats chases them away.Maybe if you know some one with a cat you could ask for their cat little to sprinkle around.I use it out around the veggie garden to keep the gophers away..

does anyone know how to keep them away; I like the idea about getting an outside cat but think my flower beds would not be happy about that.

I have 6 outside cats I use them for rodent control .They are feed every morning and have a giant self feeder available at all times .They do kill birds and rabbits but they have reduced the number of rattle snakes on my property. I am grateful to have them here

We used to have rabbits all over the place, then a neighbor moved in with about 30 cats and no more rabbits. He didn't have so many cats upon arrival, but he refused to get any of them fixed and then they were the trouble. I had to constantly go talk to him telling him he had to do something because I was getting sick of feeding the birds just so he could let his cats eat them. He believed in not feeding his cat much so they would keep the rodents down. He moved out 1 1/2 years ago and left a lot of the cats here and we have been catching them and giving them away. Another neighbor has taken a different tact with them that is not so nice. People need to be more responsible with their pets I think.

They are pesky wildlife! We have a ton of them in our neighborhood. We live in the heart of suburbia; we are not even remotely near anything that could be called *country*. They are firmly established in our yard and my neighbor's yard and we both have dogs! I've tried everything you can think of to sprinkle, spray, drape, hang and chase; all to no avail. Arg!

I spent some time Saturday trying to chase the rabbits from my garden; I don't know if they count as wildlife or rodents
