I have a little shade in the back under the tree where I planted some hostas that took and variegated vinca but I do have an orange encore azala near the patio that kind look like the picture and a lemon yellow azala in full shade and I love day lilies in all colors
There are some orange tiger lilies near the gate to the back yard that do quite well.
I have the orange and yell marigolds near the front door the short ones and out near the front fence I have the tall marigolds. I hope they self seeded themselves and come back this year.
i have a dish plate dailia that is a bronze orange gold color that is quite striking when it blooms the earwig's like to eat them.

OK Silver the plants in my profile pix in the pots that are red are impatients they come in bi-colors and solid reds,oranges and pinks and whites!They bloom all summer are an annual and love shade for anyone who has no sun they are so colorful and one plant gets pretty big it will fill a planter!Thats my mom in the pix as well!Martha Ann that sounds like a plant i better check out!Love any kind of daisys!!

I think you're thinking of the big daisy type flower, I mean the black eyed susan 'thunbergia alata' which looks a lot like an orange bizzie lizzie...if you 'google' black eyed susan indoor plant you'll see what I mean. They're also good for hanging baskets and patio tubs.

I was going to get some orange bizzie lizzies Ginger but if it's a wet summer they don't last long. I used to have an indoor black eyed susan which is pretty similar...Mmmm! don't know what happened to that!

don't think I have ever seen them. I do not have much shade here. I miss shade plants. I use to have hostas..loved them and lobelia

oh yes orange merigolds are really pretty!and they will bloom till it freezes thats always nice!!I have some orange impatients every summer and they are great because this yard I came back to is all mostly shade!They love shade and even some sun so they make a great potted patio plant for me!

I love marigolds too, french or ordinary either will do. I have some orange tulips too and some orange rough hawksbit which seeds all over, I have to be ruthless with it but it still comes up...it's common name is fox & cubs!

you cant kill them here I know I left some in a bag and it got snowed under beside the house one year and in the spring they started growing in the bag!!I have had Iris do the same thing.

I had tiger lily's in NJ they were gorgeous and grew wild every where you could not kill them

I want to try day lily's again this year So far I have had no luck with the here out soil is crap and our water is worse :(

I have a yellow one and a sort of greenish-pink one but the orange one looked beautiful when I saw it in the gardens at Hovingham Hall. They had some on sale but I couldn't carry it...now, of course, I wish I'd got one as I've never seen them anywhere else!
