I never even thought about walking the new Newburgh River trail! (DOH!) I've been walking with my baby in the stroller, and I'll bet he'd LOVE the scenery! Does anybody know mow many miles the trail is?
My husband and I have been walking with the group since July and love it. We've been away a few weeks for vacation and didn't do the Komen walk/race Saturday. We'll be back at it this Saturday. I have been a Spark member for several years, but after an accident got away from it and have gained back everything I lost. :-(
I am back on track, but now am slower and ache all the time, so it makes it difficult. I need someone to walk with outside of Saturdays. Let me know if you can handle walking slow, but steady.

No problem. I thought it was something that 'local' people needed to know about. It's mentioned on the radio, WIKY, quite a bit. I didn't get to go today because I had to work but a friend and I went walking downtown to try and make up for it. I like to try and take my two year old daughter and let her ride in a stroller or wagon we have.

I'm not sure if any of you know about this or not. Above is the link about it. I bought a wagon for my 22 1/2 month daughter and she and I are going to try and go to most of these throughout the summer. They start this Satruday April 7. There are some other 5k and 5 mile walks I'm going too. April 14 is the MS Walk and April 28 is the St. Jude walk in Eville. So there are several healthy activities in Evansville to do this summer.
