exactly one month ago, i ran a 5k. this 5k had been my goal marker for the previous 6 months. i have been doing okay on my fitness minutes, and not quite as good on my calories burned and some other aspects of my fitness. i think having a goal to work towards really helps me push myself in my runs, and my weight loss. the biggest problem is that i'm not sure what should be my next goal.
i've looked at a few fitness challenges. joined the virtual across america team, and looked at the presidential fitness challenge, but mostly those are just additional places to track what i'm already tracking in SP. Did i mention that i haven't been as diligent in tracking in SP lately? well, i haven't.
maybe the best thing will be to select another race. the hard part about that is that i'm finishing my master's thesis, looking for work, and there's the possibility of moving anywhere between 1 and 800 or even more miles depending on the opportunity. how do i pick a race when i'm not sure where i'll be?
if anyone has any ideas of a good way to challenge myself for the next 3, 4, 5+ months or so, clue me in.
