Maybe to help with your goal, rather than have just a general goal like "Eat Healthier," make out a plan and stick to it.
For instance, instead of "Eat Healthier" put "Buy Carrots, Lettuce, Tomatoes, and Cabbage(if you like it) and eat a salad for dinner 3-4 times a week." Or instead of eating that snack pack of chips, pack a little bag of carrots for a snack, or even unsalted nuts(all kinds of varieties that taste fantastic and pack a powerful protein punch.)
Be specific. General goals are good to have, but without specifics, they're literally "empty calories."
I also find it helpful to shift my focus from "how can I beat this by eating?" to "What exercises can I do to put these calories to use?"

YAY for November!!! So glad it's here. Right. Goals! Will be travelling at the end of the month and staying in hotels with pools so need to focus on getting toned thighs and tummy so I can feel reasonably confident in my bikini. Also getting measured and fitted for a corset so would like to be at my most comfortable maintainable weight of 57 kg (125 lbs).
