I'm still recovering from a recent surgery, but was given the okay for a beginner's level yoga class on Saturday, which I just signed up for. The instructor is aware of my particular "issue" and hopefully things will go well. I was able to go to work today without bringing my painkillers! Didn't feel like I needed them until later on in the night, a few hours after I got home.

I work a weird shift. I'm an investment advisor and I work Sun through Wed. Carrots and beets make the juice sweet enough. I never add fruits to my veggie juices.
And yes, spinach and carrots are a match made in heaven, taste-wise. No leafy green comes close to spinach in taste when it comes to juicing. I really hope I can find some good spinach at the store in the winter months.

I usually throw 4-5 carrots, 2 big handfuls of spinach, a piece of ginger and a red beet in the juicer as I find that makes the best tasting green juice. But as I had no spinach yesterday I used a dark green lettuce instead and it was pretty nasty

and I'm also continuing to cut back on calories and carbs. Today I'll work on cutting the FAT grams.

I'm being really careful about what I eat. . and I'm watching my sodium intake so I can avoid water retention just before my weigh day which is Sunday, March 20.
