They actually make swabs for cats that have a cleaning solution in them. They work really real.

I've never had any prob, with LingLing's ears but if one were to come up I think I'd try hyd. perox. first, then if that was not enough off we'd go to the vet.

I haven't tried Hyd Peroxide, but I think it sounds good.
I have used with good results Baby Oil (mineral oil) on a cotton ball and wipe/rub in around inside the ear. Same process using Rubbing Alcohol instead of the oil. They both seem to work well. You only need to do one though, not both!

My cat's ears are clean as well, but I did have a cat whose ears were not and I would put a little hydrogen peroxide on a cotton ball and clean them that way....just rubbing it into the ear, and he would shake the "junk" out!! Sometimes I would gently use a cotton swab to help. It also gets rid of the ear mites....the Hyd. perox.

I have cleaned out one of my cat's ear. They have a liquid you can put a few drops in their ear and take a cotton to wipe it out.

I've never had to clean my cats' ears. I think they clean each others' ears. But, I do check their ears every so often. If I saw anything that looked 'wrong', I would probably call the vet.

You might find a kitten working over its ear and discover it has ear mites so it's off to the vet.

I never clean my cat's ears. If I ever think there is a problem, it's off to the vet he will go. I'd never try it myself.

I've never cleaned any of my cats ears. They've never had any problems with their ears, so I am guessing that they are doing a good job of cleaning their own ears.

My cats do a really good job of cleaning their own ears. For our dog, who gets ear infections, we fold up a paper towel, put some ear cleaner on it (from the vet), and kind of wipe it. We have to be pretty aggressive about it because he hates it, but it doesn't hurt him. Then we refold and wipe again until the towel is clean.
