Oh ya my cats are totally addicted to Da Bird, we have about 5 now.

They will sit at the cabinet I have them in and star up longing for me to play...

I watch "My Cat from Hell" and he uses the Da Bird to tame aggressive cats and to get cats to live together in harmony but having play time.

Has anyone seen the show..love it!

Awww your Maggie May sounds beautiful...and sounds directly opposite of mine. She is black and chocolate. There is a picture of her on my page.

I played Da Bird with her last night and she she slept so well, may have to remember to do that every night for playtime. she also has a furry "tail" that we play with but definitely doesn't get as involved in that as she does birdy.

My Maggie is a Maggie May (close to Mae), too. She's a cream tabby that has the same coloring as saltine crackers. Sometimes I call her sister Alice (a red rust-colored tabby) Alice Fay so that they'll rhyme.

I'll have to remember to get Da Bird out tonight for playtime.

This is MaggieMae's most FAVORITE toy!
All I have to do is say the word "birdy" and she will get so excited and run over to the closet where it is kept and cry until I take it out to play with her.
Sometimes she will sleep right outside of the closet, and cry whenever I go past asking me to take it out and play.

I keep my Christmas stuff in that closet, and during Christmas relocated "birdy" to a different closet so I could get in and out of that one easier. Every time I'd open that closet door she would run into it and just wander the house crying after she couldn't find it...the poor kitty. emoticon "birdy" is now back in the correct closet and all is back to normal lol.

I keep thinking that I really need to get one or 2 more in reserve just in case anything would ever happen to "birdy".

My cats will go berserk over Da Bird! They love it! I think it's the kind of whirring noise that it makes as you wave it around that really catches their attention. Maggie will run after it, but Alice will do some impressive leaps for it. The 2nd Da Bird they've had is getting kind of raggedy--I've tied the string in knots to repair it at least twice. I guess it's time to get out the one that I've had stashed away.

I even made up a little 'song' about Da Bird. When I sing it (to a made up--ready lame--tune) they come running to play! ('Da Bird, Da Bird, we're gonna play Da Bird'. and repeat about 4 times.)

I had a problem finding them for a while--Petsmart (the only place I could find them around my area) had them on their clearance rack. I bought two and my sister found one or two at Petco (I think). So I've had a couple tucked away for the future. Are they still readily available?

I love this cat toy! I have been able to engage all 3 cats in play when hissing and unsocial behaivors were starting. I got my cats 13 yrs,2 yrs and 7 months to begin enjoying play time together. My cats actually cartwheel after this toy. Anyone else have one? It has all kids of ad ons! I think I got mine right before Christmas.
