Vince and Jack weren't brought up together. Jack is the latest addition to our family. He turned up during the summer, attached himself to my partner and decided to stay (we did say he wasn't moving in, but he decided otherwise).
Many of you were really supportive when I found out my cat Vince had cancer and I wanted to give you a quick update on how he's doing.
He had a great Christmas - especially great because the vet said 'spoil him - just feed him whatever he wants' - so he overdosed on turkey, and claimed all the Christmas boxes as new beds and sleeping places for him.
Although the long term diagnosis isn't great, he is continuing to maintain his weight, and is really happy and contented. On a day to day basis I think he feels pretty well as he's started playing (spin the waste paper basket until everything falls out being his favourite game).
I think my other cat Jack (who is house-trained and usually very clean) is getting rather fed up that Vince is getting so much attention. Yesterday he went to the toilet in one of Vince's favourite boxes, and a week or so ago did the same on some of Vince's toys! Anyone else come across this problem. We do give Jack a lot of attention as well!
