Isn't it amazing how they can find and hide things!!
They play with something for a few days and then it disappears. But then a couple of weeks later it shows up again.
And I have looked and looked trying to find where they may have left it, or "hid" it with not luck!!! LOL

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense.

Persephone loves hair ties. She's always stealing mine, and I find them under the carpet or hidden in my bed. She throws them in the air with her mouth and chases them down. It's very cute actually.

When she was a kitten, she would fetch those squishy foam balls that you get at the pet store. No one taught her this, she just did it automatically. One time, she fetched a toy jack-o-lantern. Nothing cuter than a little black cat running towards you with a pumpkin in her teeth.

Pita likes straws so I have to be really watchful of my drink if I have a straw. He will take it right out of my cup and usually knock my cup over in the process. Catnip doesn't do anything for him. Boris loves plastic grocery bags. They both love twisty ties and milk rings.

If I leave my hair ties out, they usually get those. Often toys are found in their water bowl too.

I have a young kitten, and Bella finds all the world to be a toy. The others like the wire ties, the plastic zip ties, bows on packages and Max found the tree and all the decorations to be good to play with.

Alice usually just likes her cat toys, but I remember one time that she was playing with a paper shopping bag. It was cute until she got her front leg caught in the handle and she went racing through the house with it. It was flapping along with her and she was trying so hard to get rid of that 'noisy monster' that was chasing her. I laughed, of course (which I'm sure hurt her feelings).

Maggie has pica (where she chews/eats non-food items) and I have to keep all plastic grocery bags and ziploc-type bags out of her reach. So, she has decided that the roll of toilet paper is the next best thing. Unless I drape a washcloth over the roll so that she doesn't see that it's there, I find that the end is all chewed. (At least she doesn't unroll it). I guess that's not really playing, though.

Although it's a cat toy, they both like to drag out an old battered catnip-filled stuffed banana and play with it now and then. It's several years old, but that must have been some potent catnip, because I still find it somewhere in the house now and then all slobbered up.

Callie, the cat I had before these two, used to love drinking straws. She would put one in her mouth like a cigar and drag it through the house making noise as it scraped against the walls. (She would also fetch balled-up pieces of paper just like a dog.)

'Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming -- WOW -- what a ride!

Flapjack, the younger of my two cats liked tinsel and kept pawing at it. We have to watch him though, because he also tries to eat it.

Vince, my older cat likes to play with the round wicker bin. In addition to sitting in it, he will lie next to it, scratch it with his claws, and then kick it with his back legs so it goes round and round. It's hilarious when it's not full emoticon

Tomcat likes to play with socks; she'll nab them from the laundry basket (clean, mind you. lol), carry them in her mouth and rolls on them.

I'm just glad she doesn't pull undergarments from the laundry basket (again, clean!) anymore like when she was a kitten.....boy, was my roommate (male) surprised.

One of my kitties loves to find the roll of TP in the bathroom.I have to hide it because she jumps on the sink and pulls it out of its'hiding place and throws the roll on the floor with her teeth.Sofia then jumps down and precedes to kill it with her claws and teeth. If I don't catch her in time I have dead tp all down the hall. emoticon emoticon

It is always so entertaining to watch a cat play. Enjoy the antics of KoKo and CeCe.
Unfortunately for me, I have a senior cat who never learned the concept of play. I wish he would be more active for the sake of his health. emoticon

My cats, KoKo and CeCe, are so much fun to watch playing.
I have been surprised at things they play with. You don't always have to buy fancy cat toys! LOL All though they do love them too.

My two found a "plastic zip tie" a couple of months ago. They love it! It is one that is a heavy duty kind and about 12 inches long. They chew on it, carry it around, but when they get me to laughing is when they throw it up in the air! Makes me think of a couple of dogs!

Another thing that they play and "sleep with" is the leg of a monkey!! I gave them a small fuzzy stuffed monkey a year ago when they were little. About four months into their playing with it they managed to pull one of its legs off.
Now they don't play a lot with the monkey but always have its leg!! LOL
It has been chewed on until is it getting hard with saliva! I don't mind until they carry it up onto the bed when we sleep!!!

Oh well, what ever makes them happy! LOL
What do your kitties like that is unusual??
