Thank you. I have a fat black cat. My mom dubbed him Blackie. I wanted something more original. He's just a great big ham. Hes 2yrs old now. He belongs to my mom but he's my cat. I work midnights and when I come in of a morning, he has to let every human and cat in the house know I'm home! LOL he's just my sexy kitty boyfriend. My fiance is a little jealous at times.
Addie, I neglected to tell you I enjoyed your poem very much. Sandra, Thanks for the complement on Max. He's 2.5 yrs. old. We lost our tabby cat, Thor, in March from diabetes. He lived 3 yrs after his diagnosis though.

I was thinking of my baby boy Blackie. Heres a poem I hope you all enjoy Cat Poetry
Black Cat A cat as black As blackest coal Is out upon His midnight stroll, His steps are soft, His walk is slow, His eyes are gold, They flash and glow. And so I run And so I duck, I do not need His black-cat luck.
