Hi (again) everyone! After hitting a rough patch that lasted two years I've decided to come back to Sparkpeople. A lot has has happened since then. I have some really sad news, some sad news and some great news... First the really sad news: my loving friend and companion of almost 15 years, Bo, passed away. It was a very difficult and sad period but also one of joy. I had adopted two kittens some time before to keep him company after his friend, Rex, passed away a year earlier. Now for the sad part: after about six months my allergies got so bad that I had to say goodbye to my two new friends, Ginger and Rascal. Again, a difficult and sad period. Some time later I was watching Cats 101 on Animal Planet and they alerted me to the only hypo-allergenic cats, siberian cats. After some googleing and research I found a reputable breeder that had two kittens available, and I took them into my home. No more allergies and they are great, cute, funny and loving! I named them Butters and Scotch (after the South Park kid) and they're growing like crazy. Already weighing in at 12 pounds at 1.5 years old, they're big boys, and they will keep growing until they're about four and they will double in size. You can check my spark page for some pictures.
It's good to be back and I hope to have fun here and to get to know some of you!
