I use the PETCO clumping litter. It does the job (I have two spayed female cats), and since I use the refillable container, it's fairly economical (30 lb for about $12).

I use Special Kitty clumpable from Wal-Mart. It's the only Special Kitty product I'll buy (since their food isn't good). It's not too expensive, you can get a scented type if you want and it's not dusty (I tried another 'cheap' brand and I couldn't believe the dust that flew up when I put some in the boxes). If I find it on sale though, I buy Tidy Cat.

Ahhh, thanks for the advice. I was using Mimi litter. I loved it, the cats liked it but alas,, Mr. President was suffering from sneezes from it. Not so great for odor control either :)

I use Tidy Cats. I've tried others, but always go back to Tidy Cat. I can't say it eliminates all odors, but it works good enough for me.

I had to change my litter from the clay clumping to something else. i stumbled upon Arm & Hammer Essentials all natural clumping litter. It is made from 100% corn fibers. I also buy the Arm & Hammer deodorizer which works good. My cats took quickly to the new litter and I have noticed a lot of their sneezing has stopped since I no longer use the clay litter.

It seems most brands of the clumping type of litter control odor very well.
I use Tidy Cat, 24/7 odor control.

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense.
