Your cats sound like bundles of fun. I know what you me about suragate kids. Mine are the same thing. My Chewy talks to me all the time. Sometimes I know what it's about others not a clue. That's when I get my leg clawed.
Your Dr. Destructo (love that) sounds like my Muffin. Most of the time he is lovey, but when he's mad...same thing as yours! I've come home to find a roll of papertowels shredded all over the dining room...it looked like it had snowed! And if you stop petting him before he's had enough he'll swipe at you. LOL...Gotta love 'em!
To my beloved Muffy, may you finally rest in peace. I love you and miss you and will remember you always.
Gaston is not always tempermental. He's usually pretty easy going and very very loving... He's a snuggler and big time lap kitty. However, if he isn't getting what he wants, when he wants it... he's Dr. Destructo.... He tears up anything with paper in the house! He's tried to destroy checks, toilet paper, magazines, books.... I could go on.... But for the most part, a wonderful wonderful boy (can you tell I love him lots?). My Jasmine is actually the one who is more of the aloof and attitude-ish of the two if you can believe it. Have you posted any pics of your kitties ? The british short hair sounds like an interesting breed.
