Hi Team - what are you doing on this bright and sunny Saturday?
I just got back from a nice long run - my longest ever! 8 miles - I did intervals of 1:30/:30 and had an average pace of 12:07 per mile. Not too bad. My legs are tired. Now I need to work. Yard, house, case study - they are all calling to me.

Running is becoming a joy!

I missed my workouts on Wed and THursday - on Wed at work I got super dizzy and turned all white, I went to the break room to lay down, of course people found me there, asked if I was sick ... checked my blood pressure for me - oops 189/110! I had to rest and think it down - my boss threatened to call the rapid response team and take me to the ER. I talked them out of it, focused on relaxation, my pressure came down enough that I was not dizzy anymore, and I finished my 12 hour shift but I did not go the gym after work! Then yesterday I just didn't have time and did not feel like it at the end of the day. I am a little concerned about my body right now - it seems to be betraying me in spite of all my efforts to be healthy. Dr appt is on the books and I am checking my pressures at home many times a day right now - still higher than I like, but not dangerous. I am just frustrated about it. I hate this. I have to go to a meeting at work but then I plan to go for a run. Hopefully I wont stroke out!

5 miles on a treadmill today because it started to rain outside - I love doing intervals. Today I started with run 1 min and walk 30 seconds then switched to run 1 min walk 1 min after 3 miles.

5K race today - I met my goal to be under 36 minutes, but barely - 35:56 - I think - now I am getting confused ... must be because I am so tired ...
