So, I started my own personal challenge. I've started taking martial arts classes in Ft. Collins. Specifically Krav Maga (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krav_Maga). It is a lot of fun. I'm also doing a second round of P90X so I'm gonna be busy!

As to the bike ride as a team goal. Hey I'm happy with whatever distance people feel up for. There are some great 5 mile rides that can be taken on the bike trails, so just let me know!

As to the food challenge, I'd be up for that! I'm tracking food intake using Spark, so it's something I already am in the habit of.

I'd take the bike challenge but I'd have to work up to 20 miles in the first place. I am really thinking about daily challenges for our team. I have been taking a great nutrition and fitness class through the Health District ( I would highly recommend it). I also followed the link from the Healthy Families Spark e-mail today to the food pyramid page. I am thinking about starting some nutrition goals for out group. Like 2.5 C Veggies every day, 2 C Fruit every day... Anyone else interested in tracking that kind of stuff?

I've been thinking about this.. I really love to ride my bike, and I would be willing to lead a challenge for a good road ride (weather permitting). Could start small at first, like 20 miles then do bigger challenges.

I don't know how many others are into biking, or who want to do a challenge like this.

That's a great idea, both for an exercise and for a challenge. I often stretch while I am waiting for copies but I am going add some calf raises and maybe some wall push ups.

What about small exercises that can be done throughout the day. For example, 25 calf raises (I think that is what they are called) while standing at the copy machine. I always forget about these.

What challenges do we want to work on as a team? Increase exercise minutes, more Spark points, weight loss, streaks, increasing our health knowledge, posting recipes... Pitch in with some ideas and lets get the challenges rolling!
