You know, I hate to say it, but I really have to watch my $$$$$. How bout we find someone that knows how to lead Zumba, get them to agree to have a FREE class for us here at SP in OUR AREA, and then support her/him. I could probably do it but I'd need a FREE place to do it at.
We could also try to come up with a walking group .... one with dogs and one without.
I found Zumba quite by mistake when I was creating my own workout regime. I love it but I can't go an entire hour with it yet. I was able to do 16 minutes and build up a big sweat through a YouTube video I found. But any more time than that, I would really have to build up my stamina. Too bad ALL the classes have to be paid for. Why can't there be a Zumba class somewhere that's free????? I have no income and will not commit to something I have to pay for when I can find it on YouTube or elsewhere and workout along with it.
I can't believe I just saw this post & I never got an email! Are you still interested in zumba? I was doing it here in Woodstock 3x/week & the pounds were just ROLLING off me, since I burned 300-400 calories per class, according to my pedometer. I KNOW there are classes in McHenry; just not sure where. Try this website: http://www.zumba.com/en-US/parties/searc h/
