Good memory! Yep, we were in Disney World for about a week - just in time for their coldest temperatures!!! It was actually warmer here for that one day. But just so relaxing for me and the hubby, my parents, and fun for my sister, her hubby and the new 6 month old. We've been going to Disney forever (we're vacation club members there), and just now have a child in the family! Of course, much more relaxing without them!

Unless you change your direction, you will end up where you are headed.

Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

Actually, a torn meniscus is exactly what I've been worrying about. I'm so pissed about it. My husband went through surgery for just that a couple of years ago. Not something I want to do. Common sense tells me it's the way to go. But I HATE giving up the momentum I had going with my exercising.

So, You're back! How was Florida?(right?) Anxious to hear all about it!

It could also be a meniscus tear or an ACL/MCL issue - both only solved with surgery (no just waiting until it gets better). My mom has had her right knee operated on for the same symptoms and has had NO problems since. You will want to see an orthopedic doctor - In Crystal Lake, I can recommend Dr. Rochell (mom's doc).

No fun to have to get surgery, but so much better than how you feel right now!!!

Get thee to a doctor ASAP, before you do any more damage. I think you pulled a muscle and the knee is out of alignment. That would be my guess, but it's just a guess.

Seriously, this needs to get corrected before it gets worse.

My knee is clicking. It's been hurting since last Monday and isn't feeling any better. I wake up at night in pain, and it hurts the worst before I have a chance to loosen it up in the morning, and after long sit-downs (like when at the computer) I have a hard time going down the stairs. I have the most difficult time straightening it completely. The clicking happens when I feel it "lock up" and so I extend it out straight and it kinda clicks into place. Weird, huh?

This all started after I ran a few times - maybe I'll post this same question on the runners team. It's frustrating as I'm now on day 7 without exercising. :(
