Look at that, we share the same name! I have to say I am already impressed with the Slim in 6. 3 more days and I am finished with the start it up. I have to admit, I love once we get to drinking the water...then I know I am more than half way done.

Hi CaminoKris :-) I am finding Ramp it up just right for me for a "challenge' - today will be my 3rd day of doing it. I just finished JM 30dayshred so that seemed to prep me to be able to be a little stronger, etc. I will probably stay on RIU until the last 2 weeks, then do the BIU...My biggest challenge is going from 30 mins to the 45 mins! :-) once I get to the leg exercises (hard!!) then I know I am almost done though- so that in itself keeps me going! just to be done with it for the day-LOL-I am the type if I don't force myself to do it and skip a couple days then I will just "quit". This time I want to complete the entire 6 weeks! Good luck to you, too! Kris (phoebeleb)

Started my 2nd week of the Start it Up!. Didn't see any weight change, but can see that I am already toning. What is even more impressive is that my mom could see the difference in my arms in only 1 week! As many know, moms can be your toughest critic!

Hi Regnur - I own the Slim Series program and did a rotation a long time ago after I finished SI6. It's awesome! One big plus over SI6 is the huge variety - you are not doing the same workout daily! There are a total of 6 dvds; 1 being a stretch/recovery workout. They range in time from approx 60 min up to 78 minutes. However, the 2 longer ones are actually my favorites lol! They REALLY kick butt!! Another nice thing is the use of dumbbells; some of the workouts use the bands, some the dumbbells - and some both. And Debbie is much more fun & joking in these, too.
That's about all I can think of off the top of my head...I don't know anything about the express workouts though.

I have finished my 10th workout with S in 6. I have done 2 a day since Sunday. Still on start it up for now. Does anyone own the slim series or slim series express? I would like to know more about them.

I'm going door knocking for my job today. I'm going to go for 2 hours and count it as my walking exercise for today.
I am going to start back today. Will start at the beginning for a few days, see how that goes :)
I have to say, when I was doing it regularly, I think it really was helping me and moving things along faster than it goes without it. I know it is 80% nutrition, and I have a good handle on that now. Back before when I was exercising alot, I didnt have a handle on my hunger, and I just seemed hungrier all the time.
So now that my hunger is under control, I think if I add this back in, I will see more of the results that I want.
This is your journey. Take the wheel and drive!

Wait till you get to the floor work for Ramp it Up! It does get easier, though.

Completed my first day of the Start Up...wow! Not as much while I was doing the exercise, but after (like now), I can feel the effects. Hoping that it'll get easier as I go thru it. Of course, I will be starting the next one after this, which will start the whole cycle all over again...LOL!

I started back today as well -- with Start it Up. I'll do it a couple of times, then jump back to Ramp it Up.

Count me in! Received my Sin6 today (what timing!). I had been walking every morning, and while I have seen some changes, I am hoping this will ramp me up.

Count me in, too. I think a new daily thread would be fun! I will be doing other types of workouts too but it would be great for accountability!! I really do miss SI6 and the SS workouts; never looked & felt better than when I did those!!!!

I have owned slim in 6 in the past, but I think I sold it. Then I saw the informercials and I am a sucker for those. So I ordered it again. This seems to be a newer version, the outfits are updated. Anyway, I finally got it today. I have been so excited to start it. I did workout 1 today, start it up. I feel great! because I got off the couch/chair and did something. I have logged onto the beachbody site and scheduled a month's worth of workouts, hopefully that will keep me on track better. I knew I couldn't wait til Jan 1, afraid I'd fail like other years of resolutions.

Count me in! I'm hoping to start after I return from my Christmas trip, which would only be a couple of days before the new year. I will also mix in other programs, but it would be great to start this -- again -- with a group.

Hi Lauren and Leneisha! Yes, lets get a Daily 'I did it" or "What I did today" type thread going January 1st so we can post our workouts there; and the ones who are doing the sin6 can keep each other going! :-) Have a Merry Christmas! Kris

I started January 1 last year and had the best round of my life! I don't know if it will work again....but I'm going to try it again anyway. keep posting here and I will buddy up with you for sure.
I won't be doing it as a program but will throw in some like abs, thighs and stretching in the mix.

I am excited to do this series again (last time a couple years ago) and think it would be great to have a "daily thread" type of thing to keep each other motivated :-)
