You can love your body and still what to improve. Those two things do not have to be opposing forces. A bird sitting in a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking because her trust is not on the branch but on her wings

Hello, everyone. I tend to cycle in and out of Sparkpeople. Part of the out this time was knee replacement surgery, which seems to have been successful. I say seems, because it's only been eight weeks, and I'm looking forward to a lot more improvement over the next two months. I'm currently off of the pain meds and walking with a cane, but I only have about 4 blocks worth of steps per day in me. I want more.
Hope you've had luck with the program, Mandy V.

Hi..to anybody who may be reading. It seems like no one's been here for a while. Well I'm new to the team. Yesterday was my first day tracking my nutrition and fitness. I did pretty well. I did 25 minutes of cardio during my lunch break and managed to keep my nutrition with in my goal range. Today is off to a good start, 2 egg whites and some potatoes with tea for breakfast. I plan to workout during my lunch break monday to thursday. I'm kinda getting anxious about the weekend already, hope I can keep the momentum going.
