I like to walk up and down Wood Ranch Pwky. It's not too hilly - just enough to get a good workout. I've tried the Long Canyon route but it doesn't seem to be as strenuous. I get a better workout up and down Wood Ranch Pwky.

I have joined many gyms over the years, but recently joined Golds Gym because of the cardio theater.... and that is what has kept me going religiously. I love to watch the movies while doing my cardio -- makes the time fly by! Sometimes I just want to keep going to see the end! I dumped 24 hours fitness right after I had my first experience. Also, James was a pretty good trainer. We got a routine set up and I have already lost over 14 pounds in about 3 weeks!

DARLEEINGTEA...My cousin has and loves it-too advanced for me I prefer the lower levels north of Kuener and south down to Corganville but I'll get there one of these days.

The Rancho Simi Trailblazers have a hike there every Sunday at 4. Here's their website: www.simitrailblazers.com/activities/index.

I'm not real adventurous, so like to go on a trail with someone who knows it the first time I go! Good luck!

Does anyone tried the Rocky Peak hiking path? I hear it leaves you burning all over. So, it seems worth a shot.

Hi Mardee,
I walk in the Bridal path area, as well. The hills are a really good work out. Also, up First Street, as it turns into Long Canyon is Challenger Park on the left. Plenty of hills there, it's beautifully green right now and sprinkled with wild flowers. Bonus: my sweet dog Kona gets to go off leash emoticon

Good to know. I'll try the Bridal path this week I think and I love to swim so I'll check that out too. Thanks and have a successful week!

Hi, Mardee,
I love to walk in Lemon Park as well. I walk along the arroyo (wash) too, since our house backs up to it. I like to walk in the Bridal Path neighborhood and nearby. The hills make it a great workout.
The pool at Rancho Simi Park has adult swim times and also water fitness classes.
Those are just some things that come to mind.

I moved here 8/15/09 and was curious where people like to workout? Outside, gym, pool?

I have lived here on and off over the years, last time I was here was about 10 years ago.

Currently I walk at Lemon Park, and Rancho Simi Park, and around my neighborhood which is near Corganville and I love it over there.

Would love to know of some other places I could venture off too since going to the gym isn't an option right now.

Thanks,

Mardee
